Kanamyacin Sulfate is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that is bactericidal for many species of bacteria and is useful for the control of many bacterial infections (including some caused by species of Aeromonas, Vibrio, Flexibacter and Mycobacteria) of freshwater and marine aquarium fish.

Freshwater fish absorb Kanamyacin from a bath resulting in a rapid attainment of therapeutic blood serum levels.
