Oxytetracycline Hydrochloride is a broad spectrum antibiotic useful for the treatment of Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacterial infections in aquarium fish.

It is indicated for the control of Aeromonas hydrophila (abdominal dropsy), Aeromonas salmonicida (furunculosis), Pseudomonas spp., Vibrio anguillarum, Edwardsiella tarda, Flexibacter spp. (bacterial gill disease) and Hemophilus piscium (ulcer disease).

It is the drug of choice for ulcer disease and vibriosis.
